greetings everyone... it has really been a while. i see the site has grown quite considerably and far from what i saw it from. it has been brought to my attention, somewhat disturbing but not at all surprised, that because of some information inaccuracies the wiki has been getting bad press from the "true zoids fans" out there.

its been a while since my last post. i hibernated from collecting since i acquired a gungy. not looking for anything in particular, a conversation with my friend revealed a complete set of MIB GZ power up parts which required an immediate meet-up. as we were talking, it seems he found out that a nearby mall is selling some of their kits at 50% off!

getting the power up parts for almost 30 bucks i went rushing to the toy store and i found KGs, gul tigers and a single iron kong ss all of which were on sale (there were other choices but they were with regular prices). it made me swear seeing the KGs with the ridiculous price decrease (i had 2 taken at the original price...) but decided on taking the lone kong to satisfy my long time kong cravin…

so what's up in the zoids world? none for takara tomy and score some more for kotobukiya. new HMM will arrive this year. a new command wolf variant, two molga variants, the gun sniper and the much awaited (for me perhaps...) iron kong. you can check out some details regarding the models in their respective articles.

new zoids key chains were also released tied in with the coca-cola corp. too bad its not world wide. as with most great things japanese, they tend to keep it to themselves. (no offense to the japanese) the dark dimetrodon has been set on limited sale during last july's toy convention in japan, only. (once again, great, just great)

...and its a slow start for zoids in the year 2009. kit prices are shooting through the roof and the lack of new models are just some of the problems to begin with. it seems tomy is busy re-issuing past releases and giving to much freedom to kotobokiya since they're too lazy to do it themselves. in fairness, kotobukiya's kits are extremely detailed, thus the HMM badge, plastic quality not included.

whatever happened to a new anime series to send their anniversary off with a bang?
