Maria is a fictional character from Zoids: Chaotic Century and Zoids: Guardian Force. She is Van Flyheight's older sister.
Overview
Maria is the oldest child of Dan Flyheight and is Van's sister. She lives in the Wind Colony. While she does not appear frequently in the series, she is shown to care deeply for her brother and her colony.
Personality
Maria generally displays a mild, pleasant demeanor. While not as fearless as her brother (she faints when she first sees Zeke, and then again upon meeting Ambient), she acts with courage when the Desert Arcobaleno Gang threatens to destroy the Wind Colony, even launching herself at Viola in an attempt to prevent her from causing more harm to the village.
Relationships
Like all characters, Maria has her own relationships:
Van: Maria seems to care very much for her brother, and worries about him. It is likely that after their father, Dan Flyheight, was killed, Maria helped to raise her brother.
Fiona: Maria is shown to be on friendly terms with Fiona, and treats her as one might a younger sister.

- Maria's surname is not revealed to be Flyheight in the anime series. Although various sources use "Flyheight", it is unclear if these are reliable. See the Talk Page for more information
- Maria's occupation appears to be a farmer. It is mentioned off hand by Dr D that she farm potatoes and spaghetti squash.
