The Laser Storm is a type of Zoid, a race of mechanical lifeforms from the fictional Zoids universe. One of over 200 species of biomechanical life forms that provide the basis for TOMY’s model kit, anime, and comic based Zoids franchise.

OverviewEdit

A chimera type Zoid, the Laser Storm was depicted as a drone in the anime series as compared to the kit where it comes with one pilot. The Laser Storm is the partner to Scissor Storm.

Zoids FuzorsEdit

Several Laser Storm Zoids appeared through the Zoids Fuzors anime, their first major role is in Episode 22 Reckless Destroyer King. Here the two Zoids are commissioned to destroy the rogue Gojulas Giga. Their next major role was in the final episodes of Zoids: Fuzors. They were used to replace the Peace Keeping Bureau Zoids, and to destroy the Zoids of the Z-Fighters. A massive version of the Laser Storm is seen fusing with the Seismosaurus, the Zoids are seen standing many times taller than regular Laser Storm Zoids.

Video GamesEdit

The Laser Storm appeared in Zoids Saga III, where it could combine as part of the Ultimate Seismo fusion.

Trading CardsEdit

The Laser Storm was featured as part of the Zoids Scramble release of Zoids Trading Cards.

ModelsEdit

BloxEdit

Features a red body with gray and dark-gray detail, completely opposite of the Blox Scissorstorm's color scheme.

Z-BuildersEdit

No changes were made except for the color scheme, which features a black body with gray and orange detail. A Hasbro Z-Builders Zoid was also released it featured the name Laserstorm on the box.

FuzorsEdit

Included with the Ultimate Seismo pack, it includes three other Zoids namely, the Seismosaurus, Scissorstorm and Styluarmor. Again, no changes were made except for the color scheme which was now a black body with gray and red details.

Related Zoids Edit

It can fuse with the Seismosaurus along with the Scissorstorm to form the Ultimate Seismo. It was also known to fuse with the Death Raser to form the Storm Raser(?).
