Sauropods are a type of saurischian dinosaurs. They were the largest animals ever to have lived on land. Well-known Sauropods include Apatosaurus (formerly known as Brontosaurus), Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus and are often identified by their distinctively long necks.
Sauropod-Type Zoids are also frequently among the largest zoids, though there are exceptions. It is not uncommon that, upon their creation, sauropod zoids are the largest or most powerful zoids in production.
