I've recently edited the Zoids Genesis, Gotoshi section.  In the anime he is portrayed as homosexual.  Now I realise Genesis will probably never receive an official western Dub, if they were going to they would have done so by now. But it got me thinking how would they of gotten around the gay issue with their strict policies? Sexual content of any variety let alone the gay variety never makes it through to the western dubbs.

Long long time ago, Zoids were popular worldwide... Nowadays they are only popular in Asia (and many collectors still seek them)

When I was young child, I really wanted a Zoid set. However, in those days, Zoid fans in United States would fight (or to the point of stealing the set from their shopping basket or shopping cart) with other Zoid fans/collectors for any or all sets that were just stock on the shelves. I would wait for a few years, but luckily my mom found some used sets at the local thrift store.

In every Zoids anime (and many video games) that I've seen, the main character always has a liger as his main zoid.  While I have nothing against ligers, I find it unfair to the hundreds of other zoids that don't get enough time in the spotlight.

I woould personally enjoy reading a story where the main character (not an antagonist) pilot a Gairyuki.

If anyone can come up with a story that has some other type of zoid as its main focus, I am all ears.

The Gustav C.A.S. Spec. is designed to be the smallest carrier zoid that has a C.A.S. changing system. The Liger Zero Ritter is a Lion-type Zoid, a species of biomechanical life form from the fictional Zoids universe.

The Ritter is an attempt to make a more stable heavy weapons platform for the liger zero. I am currently reading all of the ZOIDS UK comics, I have decided to write a massive fan-fiction . . . essentially a re-write of the entire series, to fit the japanese canon (not that the japanese stories have a unified canon, but re-writing the ideas of zoids UK to fit with the general japanese idea)

Finally! Modeling is finished. Everything has been updated significantly, from the head blade to the tail. Where the old model involved ~2500 vertices the new one has closer to 10,000.

Several parts received a complete overhaul. You'll notice the cannons are now more reasonably sized, and that the right-side cannon is now a laser-gatling gun. I decided that the old cannons just looked ridiculous, so I started by downsizing them. The gatling was then added because I felt that only one long-range cannon was needed and that it would increase the Genoblade's mid-range capabilities.

We have 5 moderators, but 3, including myself, are rarely active anymorez. In this Blog I will be detailing the custom weapons on the Model of the Gojulas Giga in the pictures I have been putting up, I cannot guestimate how much the Zoid will weigh with these weapons so any help would be appreciated.

First off, the main ranged weapon.I have dubbed these the Quad Rail Cannons{I'm horrible comming up with names:)}. This hulking weapon hs three different firing modes. OP-003 the Energy Dills is uased mainly as a utilty part for teh spinnosnapper as an upgrade over the standard drill. The OP-003 uses as a duel set of energy emiters to bother make drilling faster asn keep the drills cooler.. In a weapon caspasity the drills energy is maked out and the drill is spun at max speed so the energy is focased to the tip and fired as a beam.

An evolved sate of liger zero. This state is first even though it skip the liger 1. the liger 1 is a mysterous zoids that hasint been found yet. The origenal Liger 2 was created when a liger zero poilet used some ZOS kind of system, though not know, the system evoled the liger. This zoid is equiped with a cloke, enabling it to go undetated by the eye and radar systems. It also has a custom cannon. The cannon was sean on irvine's command wolf.

The poilet of the liger was the son of a very rich zoid poilet. So with that money he bought a jager cast armer, but only acuped the bost pack to the liger 2 making the liger 2 fang custom.

This is a 75mm double barreled beam rifel. THe OP_002 was designed to fit most large to X-Large sizw soids wiht a back part mount such as the Zaber fang, command wolf and salamnder. The OP-002 has a cockpit wiht canopy to allow a second piolt top control it on larger zoids such as the Salamander.

When the first Zoids anime came out, I wasn't really that interested. I was more into Beast Wars: Transformers instead. Even when I saw promos for Chaotic Century , I thought it was just going to be another new show for the fall line-up. Boy, I was wrong. Video game producers should really include people who've actually played their games in the production of sequals and new games;That way the designers have input on what they should/shouldn't include in the games.

For example: Soul Caliber 5, The best part about it to me was Story mode, but it just lacked something I can't put my finger on;The worst part was character creation,the body customization is nice, but complicated.

The game I've been making for some time now, has lost almost all Zoids content. Despite the URL being "zoidscore" it's become a full fire emblem site/game =/

It's at version 0.1, with the first non-demo version aiming to be 1.0

Making progress. Slowly. For Genoblade 2.0 I'm starting with a fresh model (ok, fresh import, same model courtesy DGMM on the Google warehouse), this time in the newer version of Blender (looking back I don't know how anyone ever used 2.49), since the old model had some issues after importing; I couldn't move or edit any of the pieces without them glitching and bad things happening. The problem turned out to be trying to import the SketchUp groups, after removing them everything is working great.

I also had to clean up the rather messy import and consolidate ~1000 objects into useful pieces, shaving 170,000 vertices off in the process (that's a lot).

With that out of the way, I want to now redo all of the pieces I modeled into higher-quality …

So, working from the Zoids Bible, I did the following:

There are between 432.9 to 606 earth days in a Zi year.

Here's how I calculated it:

Bible states Zi is orbiting a Class F star. F stars vary in mass from 1 solar mass to 1.4. This is where I got the range from.

Bible states Zi is orbiting at 101,326 km/h.

Since the mass of Zi is negligible compare to the star, I used an equation from physics:

v = (GM/r)^1/2

Which re-arranged, gives me the radius of orbit. Knowing the radius, I could work out the circumference, then since I know how fast Zi is orbiting, I can work out how long it took to travel the circumference.

Of course, if I got the info from the Bible wrong, someone tell me so I can re-do the calculations.

The orange box is the 23m x 11.7m dimensions given.

Granted, this is the HMM model, not the original, and TT could've easily just made them up without measuring anything. But it's something interesting to note... the height isn't even close to what's given.
